Bismillah..
it has been quite some times since i last posted anything here

blogging seems to be the most effective medium we got now
to spread the daawah and keep in touch with each other
love this quote..
actually the full version goes like this:
From the Wise Sayings of Luqman: “If you are in prayer, take care of your heart; if you are eating take care of your throat; if you are in another man’s house, take care of your eyes; if you are among people take care of your tongue. Remember two matters and forget two matters: Remember Allah and death; forget any good that you have done to another and any evil that was done to you by another.” * * * * * * * * * 'We gave wisdom to Luqman so that he may be grateful to Allah. The one who pay thanks, does so for his own good; and the one who denies His favors, should know that Allah is certainly free of all wants, worthy of all praise. (Sura Luqman: Verse 12) So what is wisdom anyway. Once, Uthman [r.a] being asked, "Why you can not be like 'Umar al Khattab?" Uthman simply answered, "And I could not be like Luqman Al-Hakim". Luqman is a man with wisdom.Wisdom provides us with the capacity to solve real life problems. It combines the mere words of truth, goodness, righteousness and guidance which enlighten and revive human life. Thus, acquiring wisdom is actually not an option . As we live through life and its experiences, it is vital that we reflect on such experiences to make our subsequent steps in life easier. As Immanuel Kant, a famous philosopher said that“Science is organized knowledge. Wisdom is organized life.” Luqman al-Hakim, peace be upon him, said to his son, “O my son! Man is composed of three thirds - a third for Allah, a third for himself and a third for the worms. The third that is for Allah is his soul; the third that is for himself is his actions, and the third that is for the worms is his body. Luqman said to his son: “O my son! I have never regretted because of keeping silent. If words are silver, silence is golden.” “He grants Hikmah to whom He pleases, and he, to whom Hikmah is granted, is indeed granted abundant good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding.” (Quran: Al-Baqara: 269) Masya Allah, may Allah grant us with such wisdom and shower us with His love and blessing insya Allah, ilmu + iman +amal |
